Qualifications
Any academic, researcher and student of Buddhist studies or related areas is welcome to use our Library.
Procedure
- In case you wish to use the Library, please contact us by phone, fax, letter, or e-mail and let us know the book(s) or materials you wish to read as well as the date you plan to visit us. We shall check whether the book(s) or materials are available in our collection as well as whether the Library is opened on your planned date of visit.
- Please make sure to bring with you the following documents upon your visit. For any further details or queries, please contact our staff.

Access Policy
With the exception of audio-visual materials and digital materials, visitors not affiliated to the ICPBS may read any books and materials in our collection. Photocopying of regular books and journals is allowed as long as it does not exceed the limits set by the current laws and regulations for the copyright protection. Borrowing is not allowed.
* Photocopies can be made for a charge. In order to use the photocopying machines in the Library, you must purchase a copy card at the ICPBS Office. Please note that only cash is accepted and the Office closes at 17:00.
